The Weekly Walk-In

Week 02

NFL - Buffalo Bills

Damar Hamlin

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin checked in for his team’s tilt against the Chargers in a perfectly nailed autumnal colour palette. His slouchy orange cardigan, finished with silver buttons, played nicely with peachy sweats. All the while, his graphic tee carried a message you don’t need to be a professional athlete to appreciate: Make sure you’re happy in real life, not just on social media.

NFL - Cleveland Browns

Winston Reid

A common pre-game mantra for the modern athlete? “Let’s go to work.” Browns linebacker Winston Reid took this literally ahead of his team’s win over the Steelers. He went full workwear in duck-brown Carhartt overalls and a camouflage cap, then kept us on our toes by swapping the expected work boots for baby-blue Adidas Sambas.

NHL - Edmonton Oilers

Kasperi Kapanen

The NHL relaxed its dress code last season, allowing players to ditch the suit. Still, the Oilers’ Kasperi Kapanen clearly prefers to keep things tailored. His bold brown three-piece, cut with caramel chalk stripes and paired with high-shine brown shoes, looked especially sharp against that bright Oilers blue. Dress code or not, some guys still mean business.

NHL - Colorado Avalanche

Ilya Nabokov

On the other hand, the Avs’ young backup netminder Ilya Nabokov has taken full advantage of the relaxed dress code, showing the vets how it’s done in a wine-red crewneck, GATs, and an on-trend man bag. The tonal palette keeps it pulled together, while the accessories make it feel considered but still casual. A strong case for leaving the suit at home.

NFL - Cleveland Browns

Jared Verse

We saw footballers carrying luxury bags at the World Cup this summer, and it looks like the trend has made its way to the National Football League. Browns defensive end Jared Verse arrived in a crisp black-and-white look, layering a cardigan over a white shirt and black tie to keep the attention on his vibrant yellow Goyard Boston duffle bag. When the bag is this loud, everything else knows to keep quiet.

The Weekly Walk-In

Week 01

NBA - OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

There’s a reason Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been called the best-dressed player in the NBA: the Canada-born basketball star has a serious knack for fashion. Between the wide-cut pants and the impeccable crop of his vest, Gilgeous-Alexander has perfected the contemporary silhouette.

La Liga - FC Barcelona

Lamine Yamal

We’re used to seeing Lamine Yamal on the field — during the 2026 World Cup, he’s been downright ubiquitous — though he’s usually wearing a Spanish football kit. Captured during an FC Barcelona and Real Betis Balompie match in May, Yamal showed us he can impress off the field, too. With a vintage-inspired leather jacket, dark-wash denim jeans, and an eye-catching chequered belt, Yamal would fit right in at fashion week.

NBA - NEW YORK KNICKS

Tyler Kolek during the NBA Finals

Tyler Kolek may have come off the Knicks’ bench, but during the NBA Finals, he emerged as a bona fide style starter. Working with fellow Rhode Islander, stylist and designer Olivier Rogers, Kolek cycled through Comme des Garçons, Prada, Dries Van Noten and Chanel, even turning up in vintage Issey Miyake and a full Junya Watanabe look. Here, he keeps it close to home in an OR-logo jacket from Rogers’s own label, in a fit that wouldn’t look out of place with the cool kids of lower Manhattan.

Premier League - Manchester City

Erling Haaland at the World Cup

Nobody had more swag at the World Cup than Erling Haaland, who spent the tournament showing off an enviable collection of Hermès HACs, Dior bags, Goyard totes and Louis Vuitton Keepalls. Even after Norway was sent home, he kept accessorizing, pairing the simple team tracksuit with Manchester City-blue Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows, sunglasses and a Dolce & Gabbana tote, which was overshadowed by his other accessory: a taxidermied raccoon he got in Texas.

F1 - Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton has spent years getting fits off at Formula 1 events, but he may have outdone himself in Monaco this year. He arrived on race day in a soft pink Issey Miyake Fall 2026 suit, its sculpted jacket and asymmetrically draped trousers topped with a sweeping violet overcoat. He finished second in the race, but style-wise he won the weekend.
